Love the eyes here!
Thanks Sue. The eyes are always my favorite part of a portrait drawing.
This is really good Mellanie. I find open mouths tricky with the teeth thing so I just tend to draw closed lips. Lazy of me I know.
It was definitely a challenge. I was tempted to just not even bother with the teeth and just draw the mouth closed, but she has such a charming smile. I had to give it a try. Fortunately it worked out, but it took ages!
hey melanie! haven’t been here for a loooong time. i love your sketches of portraits. i suck at them and how i wish i could get you to sketch mine
Hey, it’s good to see you again! Maybe next year we can trade some drawings. I can draw you and you can draw me something that you like.
You’ve really captured a cheeky and mischievous expression. Lovely lovely work.
